We rise everyday, 16th Dec 2014!

Ahead of 16th Decemeber 2014, Safecity’s Delhi team went around speaking to people in the crowded and the not-so-crowded spaces of Connaught Place, New Delhi. We asked people what has changed for them after the brutally horrific gang rape of 16th Dec 2012. Those statements and stories that came along highlighted the fear with which women are still living and moving around in the city.

We asked- What has changed? Do we understand equality? What are we really waiting for? How long will this battle for safer cities be? These questions troubled us and continue to motivate us. Our social media campaign highlighted those voices and broken silences for a better tomorrow while we work today.

We are still working towards that change. Join us, not just today, but everyday for equal and safe spaces. . Change begins as soon as we break our silences; we are talking, are you? If you wish to conduct a social media campaign and have the ideas, get in touch with us on info@reddotfoundation.org

I checked initiative randomly. And i think It’s best initiative..connecting with people is now became need of hours. Because we are missing ‘public intellectualism’ in society…
