Women’s Role & Participation in Environmental Education & Training #SDG4

Anuja Sawant @anujasaw is an environmental professional and a blogger, originally from Mumbai but curated for us from New Jersey. She highlighted the need for updated and appropriate environmental education for children right from school. She focused on women’s participation and representation in the management and care of the environment through different ways. Through numerous examples and her vast knowledge about the environment Anuja explained how women are central to the environmental movement both for the protection of the environment as well as to arm themselves with the right know-how  to fend for themselves and be independent.
