Stop Child Labour

On 9th June, Pratham Council for Vulnerable Children @PrathamPCVC conducted a tweetchat creating awareness of the prevalence of child labour even today and what we, as individuals and society, can do to stop it.

The chat began with a straightforward question asking the audience whether it was possible to imagine a world with every child being given education and none made to work. The participants were then asked what they would do if they were to see a child working and whether alms giving was really a solution. The chat then moved on to creating solutions for the existing and extremely prevalent issue of child labour. The audience was asked what they could do as responsible citizens, as part of the solution to bring an end to child labour.
