Crime does not exist in black and white but it is born out of a grey area that needs to be analyzed through a gendered and intersectional perspective. Therefore, we will analyze imprisonment, punishment, and crime through a gendered perspective. Our discussion will be focused on women prisoners and the problems they face post imprisonment.
