As an urbanist, she has worked on issues such as urban innovation, liveability, placemaking, affordable housing, participatory planning and green cities. As part of her tourism business portfolio, she is setting up a Centre for micro enterprise aimed at training rural women entrepreneurs in sustainable living and wellbeing.

She is currently the Chairperson, Cricket Association for the Blind of Maharashtra (CABM); Trustee of Global Foundation; Advisory Board Member, Suraj Foundation. She is also a Trustee in Sujaya Foundation, a non-profit started by Jerry Rao which is aimed at imparting employable skills to the differently abled.
